I released finally a project I was thinking a long time ago. It is an rss reader on rails and the name of it is freeze because it freezes the information that you like. I've used feedjira for fetching the feeds, sidekiq and sidetiq for scheduling the fetching and I also have added many features.
I couldn't find exactly an rss reader as I wanted to be and as I feel it is really important to me to have the information you find useful, organized and stored somewhere safe, I've created freeze. Check out the README of it. It isn't completed yet and I am sure I am going to improve the UI much more as I am going to use it on a daily base.
